Aims
This experiment aims to identify the species of bacteria present in a milk sample containing an organism that can cause sub-clinical mastitis.The technique employs common bacteriological diagnostic procedures and relies on a key to identify the organism.
This process should assist in evaluating the pathogenicity of the bacteria and determining appropriate control and prevention measures to undertake.
Instructions
You will be allocated two unique milk samples obtained from a particular dairy to analyse. You will be undertaking a series of observations and procedures with the samples. Although the procedures are done "on-line" they are based on the actual procedures in our lab. Your Student ID Number is:
