You will be supplied with:- Three media plates (that you inoculated and streaked with milk samples previously) for each of two milk samples containing:
- MacConkey media (MACS)
- Mannitol Salt with Oxycillin growth media (MSA)
- Sheep Blood agar with aesculin (AESS)
- Bunsen burner
- Gloves
- Wire loop
- Wire probe
- Marker pen
- Glass slides
- Hydrogen peroxide 3%
- Sterile tooth picks
- Gram stain reagents:
- Gram Crystal Violet
- Gram Iodine
- Gram Decolouriser (ethanol/acetone mixture)
- Gram Safranin stain
- Water bottle
- Microscope Emersion Oil
