Introduction |
Histological Findings:Haematoxylin & Eosin (x400)Here the liver of the dog shows large vacuolated cells
which appear to contain lipid. The nuclei of the hepatocytes are also
vacuolated which appears similar to the beta islet cells of the cat in
case 3. Glycogen accumulation is responsible for this lesion in both
cases.
