Case W882/93 metaphyseal disease in multiple bones

Histroy:

The subject was a 3 month old male German Shepherd pup. There was a sudden onset of profound lethargy, reluctance to walk and fever. The long bone metaphyses were hot and painful.
At necropsy the metaphyses were flared, with necrosis below the growth plates leading to separation.
