Introduction

History:

A 9 year old Labrador cross presented with a large, poorly demarcated, firm mass involving the musculature of the ventral abdominal wall. An incisional biopsy was performed.

This is a low power view of the mass. There is a multinodular, highly cellular, infiltrative neoplasm extending through the muscle and connective tissues. There are some dense collagen bundles of a tendinous aponeurosis (arrowheads).
