History:

Adult Labrador with dysphagia and a non-productive cough.

Tonsil (x40) showing diffuse inflammation within the submucosa (aqua arrowhead), with oedema and cellular infiltation. The surface mucosa is roughened and partially ulcerated (black arrowhead). There is hyperplasia of mucosal epithelium, with long rete peg formation (green arrowhead).
