History:

Large white, weaner pig with a history of diarrhoea.

Mucosal surface of ileum is severely thickened creating a “cobblestone” appearance, due to proliferation of crypt epithelium.

Small Intestine (x40). Mucosa is proliferative and has infiltrated through muscularis mucosae layer, into the submucosa.
