Case 6:

History:

1 year old warmblood gelding. Mild bout of colic occurred 3 weeks earlier which resolved following routine treatment. Since then, horse has lost weight and become emaciated.

Mucosa is red and glistening, with multiple small nodules diffusely scattered over the surface.


Large Intestine (x40). Mucosa is heavily infected with Cyathostome spp (arrowheads)
