History:

3 month old Fresian calf. Poor growth since birth. Heart murmur. No ventral oedema or respiratory distress observed prior to death.

Lung (x40). Large areas of lung are affected by a severe fibrinous/fibrinosuppurative inflammatory exudate.

Pleura and Lung (x40). There is also extension to the pleura as a severe fibrinous pleuritis
