Case 4:

History:

1 year old male water buffalo. Green nasal discharge, tachypnoea and coughing. No response to broad spectrum antibiotic therapy. Severe depression. Drowned during attempted rescue from a shallow dam.

Lung (x40). The majority of the lung parenchyma is uaffected. There is an inflammatory lesion associated with interstital tissues surrounding bronchi.
