Introduction

Case 1:

History:

A 12 week old male Sprague-Dawley rat presented with abdominal distension. At necropsy, both kidneys were markedly enlarged, pale and riddled with numerous, thin-walled cysts containing clear fluid.

This is a low power view of renal cortical and medullary tissue. Most of the tubules are markedly and irregularly dilated.
