At higher power, the glomerular
tufts appear irregularly shaped and hypercellular. In the adjacent
cortical parenchyma, small tubular profiles are crowded together and
there are occasional dilated tubules. There is also too much collagen
distending the interstitium surrounding the tubules.
This is a low power view
of another portion of the outer renal cortex. The same changes are
apparent and there is also evidence of irregular tubular dilation.
