Introduction

Case 3:

History:

An unexpected post mortem finding in a 5 year old female spayed bloodhound was multifocal, slighly protruberant, cream-white, miliary nodules in the bladder mucosa.

This is a low power view of the bladder wall showing the mucosa, submucosa and the inner smooth muscle bundles of the detrusor muscle. A follicular aggregate of lymphocytes is present in the superficial submucosa and corresponds to one of the cream-white nodules observed grossly.
