At higher magnification, the
mucosa is not only hyperplastic but shows full thickness dysplasia.
Full thickness mucosal dysplasia without invasion across the basement

In multiple places, neoplastic cells have breached the basement membrane
and are invading the submucosa. This warrants a diagnosis of invasive
transitional cell carcinoma.
