Introduction
   

Case 5:

Signalment:

6 year old female dog presented for vomiting, anorexia and lethargy.

Clinical Signs:

The dog was very lethargic, depressed and severely dehydrated.

Other information:

Blood electrolytes indicated markedly increased potassium (5.8 mmol/L) (normal 2.3-4.2 mmol/L) and decreased sodium (115 mmol/L) (normal 126-142 mmol/L) levels.
