Case 7:

Signalment:

Middle-aged, entire bitch.

Clinical Signs:

The dog presented with fever, lethargy, polyuria, polydipsia and a red-brown, foul-smelling vaginal discharge.

Other information:

Blood results indicated a high leukocyte count, dominated by an increased number of circulating immature (band) and mature (segmented) neutrophils.
