Case 4:Signalment:14 week old male grower pig which developed ataxia, tremors and convulsions prior to death.Clinical Signs:Externally the pig showed signs associated with acute trauma which occurred during the terminal convulsions.Other information:No other pigs in this group had been affected in such a way,although some did show signs of arthritis and one has resolving erythematous (red)There were also signs of fibrinopurulent polysynovitis (polyarthritis). skin lesions. |
