Introduction |
Gross Findings:There were few signs of systemic disease in this pig, apart from small petechial (pinpoint) haemorrhages present over the surface of some organs. Examination of cerebrospinal fluid yielded an opaque turbid fluid. The brain surface displayed opacity of the meninges especially on the ventral surface owing to the presence of a thin purulent exudate. The meningeal vessels were dilated. |
