Case 5:

Signalment:

Mature merino ram, which developed severe diarrhoea and died before you could get to the property.

Clinical Signs:

The ram was dead and there was dark, foul smelling watery faecal material around its perineal area. There were petechial (pinpoint) haemorrhages on its gums.

Other information:

The ram had been previously well although some of the ewes it was running with at the time had died in a similar manner.
