Introduction

   

Case 4:

Signalment:

5 year old Holstein dairy cow.

Clinical Signs:

The cow had progressively lost weight and had not been able to get in calf this year.

Gross Findings:

The cow was culled and sent for slaughter. At examination, multiple nodules were noted in the lungs and lymph nodes. These were firm white to yellow nodules and some were gritty. Several smaller nodules were found in the mammary gland.
The carcass was condemned.
