Case 14:Signalment:11 year old female cross breed dogClinical Signs:You have been treating this animal for some 18 months for chronic renal failure. One afternoon the owner brings the animal into your clinic in a collapsed state. At the owner's request you euthanase the animal. The owner allows you to remove the kidneys from the animal and submit them for histopathological examination. On gross examination you observe the kidneys to be small and highly misshapen. |
