Introduction |
Histological Findings:There was substantial variability in changes within the liver sections. Some lobules displayed fibrosis and atrophy of hepatocytes while others appeared more normal. Intermediately affected lobules displayed a mixture of fatty and hydropic change, hepatocyte necrosis, fibrosis, haemosiderosis, bile accumulation and bile duct proliferation.Morphological Diagnosis: Chronic severe multifocal hepatitis caused by copper storage disease |
