Case 10:

Signalment:

Mature bull.

Clinical signs:

The bull has become gradually lethargic and lost condition over several months. The farmer is concerned that it may have BSE.

Other information:

The bull was purchased 4 years ago as part of a scheme to replenish the national dairy herd in Britain following culling to eradicate bovine spongiform encephalopathy. As part of the new free trade of the European economic market it was imported from Eastern Europe into Britain where you are working.
