Introduction
   

Gross Findings:

Examination of the animal at post mortem revealed an enlarged kidney with a large pale wedge shaped region which extended from the capsular surface through the cortex and medulla to the renal pelvis. Other areas of the kidney appeared affected to different degrees. The other kidney was normal and no other abnormalities were discovered.
