Introduction
   

Case 3:

Clinical History:

A ten year old German shepherd presented with a history of sudden collapse 3 days previously. On examination no heart sounds were detectable during ascultation. Femoral pulses were very week and mucous membranes were pale and blue. the animal was euthanased and a post mortem conducted. A large multilobular dark red mass was observed on the right auricle.

Normal myofibres can be seen on the right. On the left there is a masss of cells infiltrating the epicardial adipose tissue.

In the main part of the mass the tumour cells seem to be fore large, irregular vascular channels.
