Introduction |
Case 3:Clinical History:A ten year old German shepherd presented with a history of sudden collapse 3 days previously. On examination no heart sounds were detectable during ascultation. Femoral pulses were very week and mucous membranes were pale and blue. the animal was euthanased and a post mortem conducted. A large multilobular dark red mass was observed on the right auricle.Mass on right auricle (x40)Normal myofibres can be seen on the right. On the left there is a masss of cells infiltrating the epicardial adipose tissue.
