Clinical History:

Enlarged lyumph node from a sheep submitted by meat inspector from the local abattoir. Many of the he cast for age sheep from a particular property have similar lesions.

 

Lymph node (x40)

There is compressed normal lymphoid tissue at the periphery. The majority of the node is composed of concenttric rings of caseous necrosis.
