Cut section through the stomach of a cat.

A focal, pale, firm mass is seen protruding from the mucosal surface. On cut section, the mass is homogenous in appearance. Histology is required for a definitive diagnosis, but differentials include leiomyoma, leiomyosarcoma, fibroma/sarcoma, lymphoma etc.
