In this medium power view, note the dilation of the central vein and the narrowing (atrophy) of the hepatocellular cords, especially in zone 3. At this power, you can also pick up pigment in the less severely atrophic hepatocytes of the midzone (zone 2) and inner periportal zone (zone 1).
