Introduction |
Squamous Cell Carcinoma:History:An 8 year old domestic shorthair (DSH), male neutered cat presented with a chronic history of mild, watery/red ocular discharge. Over the previous 8 weeks, the right eye developed a mass on the eyelid. The tumour was non-painful and was present on non pigmented skin.
Cords of squamous epithelium are invading the dermis. This malignancy may metastasise to regional lymph nodes and occasionally to more distant sites. (x40)Slide Ref: 798/02 * |
