Basal Cell Carcinoma:

History:

A large ulcerated mass was present on the lateral thorax of a dog.

 

Characteristic histological appearance of a basal cell tumour, with ribbons of uniform basal cells supported by an abundant collagenous stroma. Because of the stromal component, these tumours are usually of firm consistency. (x200)
